VoiceDrop data

Half of all callbacks come within 24 minutes of a ringless voicemail

A text carries the details. A voicemail in your own voice gets the call back, and usually fast, so drop it when you can pick up the phone and send the text right after.

Features

Text, leave voicemails and call clients from one account

Your agency can reach its whole book without adding a second tool.

Send one text to your whole book

Upload your client list, put each client's first name or renewal date in the text, and see the exact message and how many people will get it before it sends.

Landlines are skipped automatically

Numbers in your list that can't receive a text are left out before anything sends.

Every reply lands in one inbox

Replies land in a two-way inbox you answer from the browser, one client at a time, with photos when you need them.

STOP replies are handled for you

When a client replies STOP, or asks to be taken off in their own words, VoiceDrop stops texting that number from all your campaigns.

Our team files your texting registration

Carriers require business texts to be registered. We file your agency's registration for you.

Leave a voicemail without ringing their phone

Drop a ringless voicemail in a clone of your voice before the text, and call from the browser when a client needs a conversation.

Texting rules

Follow these four rules every time you text a client

Each rule shows the federal regulation it comes from.

01

Get written consent for marketing texts

Texts that sell, like a new quote offer, need the client's prior express written consent, such as a checked box on your quote form.

02

Text only between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. in the client's time zone

That's the federal window for marketing texts, in the client's own time zone, and over 20 states set stricter hours. Check any state with our calling hours tool.

03

Honor an opt-out within 10 business days

A client can opt out by replying STOP, quit, cancel or unsubscribe, or in their own words. VoiceDrop stops texting them as soon as the reply comes in.

04

Text people on Medicare only if they asked to hear from you

CMS bars unsolicited texts and voicemails to people on Medicare. Text the clients who gave you permission or contacted you first.

FAQ

Here are answers to common questions about texting clients

Yes. Text clients who gave you their number and agreed to hear from you. For marketing texts, like a new quote offer, get their written consent first, such as a checked box on your quote form.

You need a number registered for business texting. Carriers require it for texts from local numbers (it's called 10DLC registration), and VoiceDrop's team files it for your agency.

Federal rules allow marketing texts from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the client's own time zone, and over 20 states set stricter hours. Our free calling hours tool shows the window for any state.

Yes, if they gave you permission or contacted you first. CMS bars unsolicited texts and voicemails to people on Medicare, so text your own clients, not a bought list.

One text holds 160 plain characters. An emoji or a curly apostrophe switches it to Unicode, which holds 70, so the same message can count as two or three texts. The template builder above shows the count as you type.

It depends on how many texts you send a month. Book a demo, pick your monthly volume, and you'll leave the call with a price.
